Your opportunity to be part of this very rare fundraising event, at Claridge's on Sunday 10th November, 2024.

A £425 donation guarantees you a seat at a table for this one-off event, Rare Charity's first major event in 5 years.

A unique menu has been created exclusively for the event by:

  • Simon Attridge – Culinary Director of Claridge's
  • Ravneet Gill – Chef, writer, broadcaster & founder of Counter Talk
  • Richard Hart – Chef and baker, founder of Hart Bageri & Green Rhino
  • Thibault Hauchard – Head Pastry Chef of Claridge's
  • Santiago Lastra – Founder & Executive Chef of Kol
  • Thomasina Miers – Chef, author, broadcaster & founder of Wahaca
  • Talia Richard-Carvajal – Patisserie Chef, head of Hart Bageri
  • Tea from Henrietta Lovell
  • Cocktails from Max & Noel Venning
  • and hosted by Alexander Armstrong

With guest appearances and an auction for money can't buy prizes, we think you'll agree it adds up to a very rare event.

Rare Charity funds education where opportunity is rare but talent is not. All donations will be used to fund access to education for scholars in Malawi and Nepal.

Please note: due to the unique nature of the menu and event, we cannot guarantee that each dish will cater to individual dietary requirements. Ticket holders will be responsible for their own travel to attend the event.

A Rare High Tea at Claridge's for Rare Charity

Funding education where opportunities are rare, but talent is not.

Funds raised will support the latest graduates from our secondary school programme in Malawi to continue their academic success in tertiary education. Working closely with partners in tea-growing areas, our tailored scholarships help young people build the knowledge, skills, and self-belief to affect change in their lives and communities. We are also excited to launch a new programme for young women in Nepal to complete their secondary education.
