A scintillating combination of rose petals, almond blossom and white silver tip loose leaf tea brings an experience that is somehow greater than the sum of its parts.
Expertly blended by Henrietta as a love letter to the taste of Spring. The flavour truly delights the senses with every sip. Truly extraordinary.
This blend easily makes two or more infusions. The second cup is even more delicious than the first as the leaves and petals have softened, allowing the water to penetrate more deeply.
This blend contains the flower of a nut tree (Almond Blossom) - please exercise caution with nut allergies.
Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Initially the Yunnan silver tip provides a smooth base, with a sweet delicate flavour and a touch of acidity. Bright, warm honeysuckle and almond notes from the blossom develop over the tongue with the light but unmistakable rose flavour rounding off the experience.

More infusion tips
How to infuse your tea is very personal, and these are just our recommendations based on experience. Please experiment with these variables to your heart's delight. These are our recommendations, not hard and fast rules. The most delicious tea is the one you love.
Our guide uses a standard tea cup size (150ml/5.5 oz) as a measure, please adjust the quantity of leaf accordingly for less or more water. Our whole loose leaves are of such a high quality that you can infuse our teas at least twice, and the second infusion is often better than the first, with different flavours revealed as the leaf softens. If you prefer your tea stronger, add more leaf, don’t leave it for longer (this will just make it bitter).
Origin & Craft
The perfect base for this tea is comprised of Yunnan White Silver Tip, an unusual white tea from a region predominantly know for black tea and Pu'er. Just the first leaf buds of Spring are harvested and sun dried. No further processing takes place, leading to a beautiful dried leaf. This lack of processing leads to the leaf retaining higher levels of antioxidants than other teas. Naturally low in caffeine, Yunnan White Silver Tip also has much less tannin than an oxidised leaf, leading to a sweet and bright infusion.
Henrietta then blends the lovely Silver Tip Tea with radiant Spanish Almond Blossom, grown on a rocky hillside where olives and carob trees grow amongst the Marcona almonds, beside deep, fragrant orange groves. Each flower is picked individually then carefully air dried on a muslin bed to prevent the blossoms from bruising. Farmed organically and tenderly by our friend, Ferran Rojo Sol.
Lastly, a small amount of Gujarati Rose Petals (grown in an organic smallholder co-operative) are blended into the mix, launching this blend into the stratosphere.
