Service Information

Canada Tracked Delivery

  • Tracked mail service, with in-country delivery by Canada Post.
  • Customs/duty clearance built into the service:
    • If import duties or taxes are due, you'll be notified by text message and email as soon as your parcel arrives in the UK processing centre.
    • The email will include a secure payment link where you can pay any duties, taxes, and a small administration fee. This fee is typically much lower than the charges applied by local postal services.
    • Your parcel will be held securely until payment has been made.
    • Once payment is received, your order will continue to its destination using a local delivery partner.
    • No additional payments or action will be required after this point.
  • Delivery in 8+ working days (maximum 28 working days), depending on customs clearance.
  • Carried by Evri Global Connect.

International Express Courier

  • Express international courier service, carried to 99% of countries worldwide.
  • Delivery in approximately 2 to 7 working days for Canada, depending on customs clearance.
  • Parcels are dispatched by DHL Express.

General Shipping Information

  • Weekends, bank holidays & public holidays (both UK and local) are not included as working days.
  • All orders placed after 12pm GMT are regarded as being received by us on the next working day (Monday - Friday).
  • No shipping services are guaranteed or time definite; all delivery estimates are guidelines and inclement weather, public holidays, and seasonal delays may affect your parcel.
  • All orders are shipped from the United Kingdom and are subject to assessment by your local customs authority. Please note customs clearance is not included in shipping estimates and can vary hugely depending on seasonality and throughput.
  • For all shipments, please give an accessible daytime delivery address, including a monitored email address and mobile telephone number (customs clearance/tracking information may be sent to your email/address number by your customs authority and your local mail service).
  • Your order may be subject to additional customs charges. Please be aware that Rare Tea company is not liable for these charges. Refusal of payment which results in a return to sender will be charged to be resent or refunded minus the original shipping fee when the item arrives back at our warehouse. This is in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
