Our aim is simple; to source and supply the world's best loose leaf tea, directly from farmers and their tea gardens.

From a selection of the most lovingly blended English Breakfast teas to the most delicious selection of unique, single estate green teas, white teas, oolongs, black teas, pu'er and herbal tea infusions we hope to have everything here to make your heart sing. We also seek out the best teapots, teacups, tea strainers and tea sets to bring you everything you need to enjoy the simple luxury of loose leaf tea.

We have been working directly with our loose leaf tea farmers since 2004, building long-term relationships. We don't buy from brokers, middle-men or commodity markets. We keep the value of their tea with the people who make it.

We support the 3 pillars of sustainability: environmental, economic and social. Our loose leaf teas are grown without pesticides and herbicides. No teabags with bleaches, glues and micro-plastics that waste precious resources for single use.

The company was founded in 2004, by Henrietta Lovell (known around the world as Rare Tea Lady - @raretealady) to source and supply the world's best loose leaf tea directly from farmers and their tea gardens.

Who we work with

We are extremely proud to supply the best loose leaf teas to some of the world’s greatest restaurants. We also supply many amazing cafes and bars alongside delis, departments stores and shops. You will find our loose leaf teas for sale in many stores and shops to buy and take home, as well as in places like these where they will do it for you beautifully.
