Lovely tea

I’m really enjoying this chamomile tea. I make it in a glass pot where I enjoy seeing the flowers swirl. Gorgeous colour and delicious taste even on the second infusion.

perfect chamomile tea

The quality of this chamomile flowers is simply stunning. You can almost taste of its freshness coming out from the meadow. Very mild and natural sweetness that you can drink it on its own without honey or other additives.

Best chamomlie tea I ever had

I am so in love with this chamomile tea. I am from Hungary and I have been drinking chamomile tea since forever and tried the best and purest ones. This one is not only brighter in colour and has an amazing scent but also the sweetest one I ever tried. I have it with a touch of honey for breakfast or plain in the evenings. I am very satisfied with this choice.

Lovely tasting tea

Tasting Notes

Clean and subtle, these flowers are also wonderfully calming and, of course, caffeine free.

The general rule of thumb is that all herbs should be infused at 100°C, to dissolve the essential oils. After long experimentation looking for the best flavour extraction, we found that chamomile (like tea), contains bitter compounds. The best flavours are released at lower temperatures – treat it like a green tea, 70°C. This brings out all the sweetness and leaves the bitterness behind. It is the only exception to the herbal rule.

Use 2g of flowers per 150ml of water.

For the optimum infusion use 70°C (158°F) water.

Infuse for 1 - 2 minutes, tasting regularly.

You can infuse these herbs at least three times.  With each careful infusion, different subtleties of flavour are revealed.

Cost Per Cup

16p per cup based on 2g of tea per 150ml of water and 3 infusions.
