The over cup strainer is excellent. It makes pouring tea into a cup the next best step before taking a sip of whichever Rare Tea variety I’m set to enjoy. Prior to the strainer appearing in my life, I’d had trouble enjoying loose leaf tea. I seemed to pour enough leaves out of the pot with the infusion to find several fortunes to tell in the bottom of my cups. That’s something I used to hear about. Reading tea leaves in the bottom of the cup. Great for tea leaf readers, not so good for this tea drinker. So, I highly recommend this lovely and elegant accessory in the making of a perfect cup of tea. It is peerless.
