Wonderfully delicious

I lived in Malawi as a child and had family friends who grew tea. This has taken me right back. It is delicious. I love with a dash of milk but equally good without. Can be re-steeped for a second joyous mug.

Delicious

From the moment I opened the package, the fragrance was amazing. I was excited to try it and wow the flavor is wonderful! Each steep and with or without milk. Delicious. Thank you for finding this.

Deep, satisfying, delicious

I love this tea. It has body and warmth and savour but it is also delicate: the range of flavour is just wonderful. It is great value because it can be brewed two or three times and the experience changes each time. After this teabag tea seems cramped and claustrophobic while this is like a deep breath of wide open taste and air and deliciousness. Just gorgeous.

Tasting Notes

Deep, rich and malty, it has notes of caramel and burnt sugar. Delicious black, becoming sweet and chocolatey with the addition of milk.

Quantity

Use 2.5g of tea per 150ml of water.

Temperature

For the optimum infusion use 85°C (185°F) water.  If you like milk, please use water at 100°C (212°F).

Time

Infuse for 1 - 2 minutes, tasting regularly.

Infusion

You can infuse this tea at least twice. With each careful infusion, different subtleties of flavour are revealed.
