My RAF morning tea

A really good strong cup of tea , I enjoy for my morning break . I get at least two brews out of my leaves . A dash of milk with the second one .

The perfect black tea

I've found a new favourite 'all-rounder' black tea in this - it's packed with flavour and perfect as a breakfast tea or for mid-afternoon.

I enjoyed this tea, however as I enjoy a strong cup of tea, I suggest letting it brew longer that advised.

Excellent all round breakfast tea

I first tasted this wonderful tea at a great little cafe in Primrose Hill and I haven’t looked back since that day. Yes it’s quite a bit more expensive than regular tea, but in this life you get what you pay for and I am happy to pay for this level of quality and ethics. It has a very delicate, malty flavour, but by no means tastes weak.

A really nice, proper cup of tea

This is a really nice, proper cup of tea. Like all Rare Teas I've tried it has a clarity in its flavour that is lovely.

Tasting Notes

A more delicate flavour than a modern Breakfast tea, it has soft florals balanced by smooth, malty notes.

Use 2.5g of tea per 150ml of water.

For the optimum infusion use 85°C (185°F) water.  If you enjoy your tea with milk, please use water at 100°C (212°F).

Infuse for 1 - 2 minutes, tasting regularly.

You can infuse this tea at least twice. With each careful infusion, different subtleties of flavour are revealed.

Cost Per Cup

15p per cup based on 2.5g of tea per 150ml of water and 2 infusions.
