Chinese Whole Leaf Green Tea
16 reviewsA meticulously hand-crafted Chinese green loose leaf tea that has been made in the same way for over 3000 years. Pure, clean, soft and elegant. The antithesis of industrial, mass produced green tea.
Made from the soft new leaves of spring it is also known as White Monkey Paw (Baimao Hou).

The best!
I’ve been purchasing this green tea for several years via Ocado. Prior to that I’d tried many others but they all left me feeling nauseous! I’d almost given up but chanced upon this and haven’t looked back. I like my green tea on the weaker side and this is so palatable. Consistently good. Not at all bitter…just a lovely easy to drink tea. Wouldn’t buy any other now.

Lovely green tea Soft and sweet
I really liked this. It is a real contrast to the breakfast green tea that I like so much. This is a gentle soft sweet tasting tea and a real treat to sip at through the day.

Rare Tea’s Chinese Whole Leaf Green Tea
Probably the best Chinese Whole Leaf Green Tea I’ve had in decades. Full credit to Rare Tea.

Delicious - best green tea I’ve tasted

Beautiful and Delicate
I first came across this tea in my local Waitrose about 5 years ago and followed the instructions with a thermometer in a stainless steel pan and brewed it for Sixty seconds and the result was utterly refreshing. When I recently spoke to a Chinese friend he asked the teas name, when I said White Monkey Paw he replied that is one of China's finest teas. Well worth trying if you have never tried it but use filtered water if you can. Thanks Henrietta.
