The most elegant of mints, these gentle leaves make a remarkably smooth, well rounded infusion. Grown on the rolling, green hills of the Shire Highlands of Malawi; they have a delicate softness while still revealing intense layers of flavour.
This is an ideal mint to accompany food - working splendidly as a flavour pairing for both sweet and savoury dishes. It also works rather well as a digestif.
Naturally caffeine free.

I never particularly liked minty teas, even less pure mint, as I always found the taste too chemical and strong. This spearmint is pure, utter bliss. It’s mellow and elegant, absolutely delicious, minty yes, but not at all overpowering. So good it’s hard to think that such marvellous taste is hidden in those humble leaves.

Malawi
Spearmint
This native African spearmint was one of our most unusual finds. From the rolling green hills of the Shire Highlands, Malawi, it is grown by small-holders alongside the Satemwa Tea Estate, helping supplement the incomes of local families.
Like all our herbs and teas it is grown without herbicides or pesticides, beside a small river beneath the tea fields.
