Five Stars I think its a lovely "Oolong". It is as good as the other reviews say. Lovely mellow floral, honey and muscatel notes - great on a cold day ! I am sure its lovely on a summers day too. I am an Oolong drinker and not really a green tea drinker but this is more of an Oolong to me !
I am not generally a fan of green tea, but Nepalese Himalayan Spring is a very special tea. It is light and crisp, with complex flavours. I would absolutely recommend trying this tea.
A nice simple green tea with a light taste, great for the newbies to try a green tea.
This tea is gorgeous. I usually prefer white tea to green and this has the sweetness, delicacy & softness of white tea for me.
Hidden among Rare Tea's already stellar list is this stunningly fresh Himalayan secret jewel. Fresh green curls and wisps billow into full leaf in the pot to deliver a wheatfield-yellow liquor of silky mouthfeel and pronounced melon, lychee and pineapple flavours to which I'd add a butterscotch base note. A clean mineral finish leads on to a more herbaceous, Spring floral border second infusion that hardly diminishes through a third beginning to reveal edges of pear drops and citrus peel. Difficult to imagine a better drink for the season. Very good indeed at twice the price I hardly feel encouraged to give this secret away. Ms Lovell, Rare Tea and not least the tea farmers of Sikkim have outdone themselves. Buy it before I guzzle it all...
