18Robust and beautiful hand-blown glass teapot in two sizes - the little one (150ml) is ideal for a single cup and the larger (300ml) is perfect for tea for two (or a large mug). Fill to the point where the top of the spout meets the body of the teapot for the perfect pour.
This glass teapot is meticulously designed and crafted to be both strong and delicate. It is hand-blown from special heat-resistant, toughened glass to be practical as well as beautiful.
It is perfectly balanced to pour without spilling a drop of precious tea and comes with a stainless steel spiral in the spout to hold back the loose tea leaves - it will filter out everything but finer cut loose leaf teas (such as Speedy, Earl Grey & Lost Malawi). To guarantee no finer leaves end up in your cup, we have our Rare Tea Overcup Strainer.
This teapot is extremely giftable for those who are resistant to leaf tea - the bespoke design makes it so easy to get your measurements right for the perfect cup. Full and detailed instructions on how to use on the inside of the box.
These teapots are dishwasher proof and the internal strainer can be easily removed - very easy to maintain and keep clean.
It is very rare that our strong glass teapots might break, however in case of any mishaps we do also provide replacement lids for both sizes.

I love my both my Rare Tea glass teapots! I have the smaller and larger ones and use one or both daily, depending on if I'm making tea for just me or for two! The strainer that comes with the pot is a marvel and works well, though I do also have the wire mesh small strainer for the finely cut teas. So very easy to use, as Henrietta shows on her videos. I have a "tea center" in my kitchen where my two glass Rare Tea Glass Teapots are center stage plus our lovely china tea cups. I set out our Rare Tea of the day and we are set to enjoy lovely lovely tea! Love my Rare Glass Teapots--using them makes our Rare Tea loose teas even more magical!

Useful to be able to measure the exact amount of water without fuss. Sadly I dropped the lid and it didn't bounce! The good news is that lids may be purchased separately.
