Fabulous tea… a speedy, delicious cup of tea every time!

I simply love the flavour of speedy breakfast. It has a deep, strong, malty flavour that is perfect with a drop of milk. I also have it without milk. I started buying tea from The Rare Tea Company a couple of years ago. I will not be going back to tea bags!Not only do I love the tea; I also love the ethics and sustainability values of this company. It is just brilliant to know exactly where my tea comes from, down to the tea estate. Finally, I buy the tea in bulk and it is brilliant value for money. Due to the outstanding quality, ‘less is more’ and a little goes a long way. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tea.

My favourite tea!!

For me this is a perfect cup of tea, the tea I have been drinking all my life with no sugar and a drop of milk. I think I make it a little stronger than suggested ; so good. I tend to use the cup strainer when I make it just for me what a clever idea that is. I've tried and enjoyed lots of the rare teas on offer and enjoyed them. Thjis one is my go to tea and it is good all day round but breakfast it's must.

Very good.. strong the way I like it, quick brewing and good foreground and back ground tastes.. it was smaller leaves and particles than I thought it would be, but it opened nicely and gave a good depth of taste.. certainly a good ‘go to’ tea in the morning…!

Tasting Notes

Remarkably strong, rich and comforting with a deep malty finish.

Quantity

Use 2.5g of tea per 150ml of water.

Temperature

For the optimum infusion use 100°C (212°F) water.

Time

Infuse for 45 seconds to 2 minutes, tasting regularly.

Infusions

If you like a soft infusion you can infuse this tea twice. With each careful infusion, different subtleties of flavour are revealed.
