Use 2 grams of tea per 150ml of water. For the optimum infusion use 70 degree water.An extremely unusual green tea from Satemwa estate in Malawi. Beautifully crafted and completely unique this tea is only produced in tiny quantities - just a few kilos a year. This tea is plucked from bushes grown from original Chinese seed in 1921. The seed was taken from Fujian to Malawi by way of the Royal Botanical gardens in Edinburgh in 1921. These precious leaves are steamed in the traditional Japanese style resulting in a succulent and extremely rich green tea. Malawi Green Tea is wonderful served hot or cold and particularly good over ice with honey and fresh mint. On the farm in Satemwa they often add a little Lemon Verbena to the pot and spoon of honey into the cup for a truly refreshing tea.
