LaKyrsiew & Temi Tea Gardens
These elegant hand-crafted teas are grown organically high in the pure air and water of the Eastern Himalayas in the lush green gardens that roll down from the mountains in Sikkim and Meghalaya.
We collaborate directly with a collective of Saffron farmers in Kashmir to get the most exquisite strands of saffron to blend with these teas.
The teas, being hand-crafted and not industrially produced, retain high levels of natural antioxidants. Saffron too contains antioxidants and has anti- inflammatory properties. It is used to improve memory, enhance mood and alleviate depression and has been taken for many millennia as an aphrodisiac.
Studies suggest that Saffron (like Turmeric) may be effective in the treatment of Alzheimer’s.
We are not doctors, or indeed snake oil salesmen - but there are no known negative side effects of drinking tea or saffron. They are absolutely delicious and in their pure forms like this, combine to help us feel good, at the very least from their sublime flavour.
