Why choose our herbal teas?
- No health washing - we donβt claim any of our herbal infusions have magical health-giving properties. There is no such thing as a detox tea or weight loss tea. Thatβs just marketing and health washing.
- Purity - all our herbal infusions are grown under organic principles and contain no additives or flavourings of any kind.
- Rest and relaxation - none of our herbal infusions contain any caffeine (except Coffee Leaf and our Recovery Tea). While true tea is made from Camellia sinensis - these are infusions of herbs that are naturally caffeine-free.
- Better than a bag - no microplastics, bleaches, glues or industrial solvents used to manufacture tea bags. All our herbal teas are loose leaf.
- Traceability - we buy direct from herb gardens across the globe and tell you exactly where your herbs come from.
- Flavour - all our herbal teas are chosen or blended to be the most delicious infusions we can find or create for herb gardens across the globe. And we can claim wholeheartedly that their great flavours bring deep pleasure.
- Good for you and the environment - even plastic-free or biodegradable tea bags are not environmentally sustainable - they use precious natural resources for a single dunk.
How to choose a herbal tea?
- Taste - all our herbal infusions are chosen to be the most delicious we can find. You canβt really go wrong. But if you donβt know where to start - why not try our Herbal Tea Subscription Box?
- Hydration - Wild Rooibos has been used for thousands of years for rehydration in South Africa. Ours is gathered from wild land from ancient bushes. We also have our Recovery Blend.
- De-stress and sleep - we have a special blend called Soothe-Me to help you unwind, de-stress or get a good nightβs sleep. Or you might want to try our pure Chamomile. Indian Tulsi (also known as Holy Basil) is used in Ayurvedic practice to relieve anxiety.
- Digestion - herbs like mint are believed to help aid digestion. We have a range - Rare Mint Tea, Portuguese Peppermint, English Peppermint and Malawi Spearmint. We also have a lovely blend of Himalayan Ginger & Lemongrass that makes a lovely digestif.
